Today, the Justice Department announced the “Assisting Neighborhoods and Governments with Enforcement of Laws” (ANGEL) Grant Program. This initiative seeks to protect American citizens from being victimized, harmed, or killed by violent criminal illegal aliens. No additional families should endure the trauma and life altering devastation experienced by victims of violent crime and Angel Families. This funding opportunity will support state, local, and tribal government’s activities to identify, disrupt, and prevent violent crime and enhance public safety through coordinated, intelligence-led law enforcement operations.
