Federal partners seize 90 fuel shipments valued at over $2.8 million bound for sanctioned Cuban entity

HSI Miami and HSI Houston, working with Customs and Border Protection (CBP) and the Department of Commerce’s Bureau of Industry and Security (BIS), seized 90 biodiesel fuel shipments valued at over $2. 8 million dollars. These shipments were part of an attempt to unlawfully export fuel to Cuba in violation of federal export laws.
