A TrumpViral story should answer four questions quickly: what happened, where did the information come from, when was it published, and why does it matter now? If one of those answers is missing, the item belongs in the desk queue instead of the lead position.

Official API records and allowlisted publisher metadata can publish automatically under the correct source label. Unsupported feeds, uncertain claims, and social reposts stay out of the public desk until reviewed.
