In an age of rapid digital advancement, cyberspace has emerged as the new frontier of American innovation, prosperity, and strength. As new technologies open doors to discovery and opportunity that were once unimaginable, a secure cyberspace is essential to ensuring that America continues to lead the world in finance, military power, emerging technology, and manufacturing. During National Cybersecurity Awareness Month, my Administration reaffirms our dedication to bolstering our Nation’s cybersecurity, protecting the American People, and unleashing the Golden Age of Cyberspace.

Every American relies on the digital world for information, economic opportunity, and the simple routines of daily life. Freedom and security in cyberspace, however, can never be taken for granted. For too long, adversaries and cybercriminals exploited our connected way of life to target our citizens, communities, and businesses without consequence. My Administration has put an end to this era of weakness. As President, I signed an Executive Order to combat cybercrime, fraud, and predatory schemes and stop foreign criminal networks from preying on vulnerable Americans.

In March, I released my Cyber Strategy for America—a bold vision for the future of American cybersecurity and innovation. My Administration is already putting this strategy into action through the creation of “GOLD EAGLE,” a partnership between the Federal Government and leading American companies to harness the power of American Super Intelligence to identify cybersecurity vulnerabilities at rapid speed and stay ahead of our adversaries, defend the American People from emerging threats, and safeguard the critical infrastructure vital to our national security and global competitiveness.

As we secure America’s digital future, we are also preparing the next generation to lead it.
